Mara Hoffman x Crewcuts: Ethereal Prints for Kids Inspired by India
Mara Hoffman is celebrated for her signature prints and stunning collections, often inspired by her love of world travel, nature, mythology, and magic. I’ve always been a fan of her beautiful swimsuits and ethnically inspired dashiki cover-ups (I love my Mara Hoffman swimsuit and cover-up!).
Naturally, I was thrilled to hear about her first-ever girls' collection—a collaboration with Crewcuts. It was love at first sight when I saw the collection of bikinis, one-pieces, rash guards, ponchos, dresses, harem pants, and rompers, all featuring prints and graphics inspired by the mythology and art of India.
In an article by Elana Fishman for Lucky Magazine, Hoffman explains the inspiration behind the collection’s prints:
“The Ganesh print is inspired by one of my go-to deities that I call upon when I need help—it has a joyous, childlike spirit. And the Ananda print incorporates birds that represent happiness and bliss—perfect for kids!”
