Throwback-Thursday: Striped Tank Tops Then and Now
Since it's Throwback-Thursday, I wanted to share this photo of me and my sister Margie from 1979. I recently pulled it out to send to her for National Sibling Day. When she saw it, she suggested we find similar tank tops and retake the photo now. Naturally, that sent me on a mission to hunt for matching tank tops—perfect timing since she’s visiting soon! I can’t wait to see her (she lives in Brooklyn, BTW).
Even though this photo is from 1979, striped tank tops are still just as cute today for little ones. While searching for a yellow tank top for myself and a striped one for my sister, I found some adorable options for kids that I have to share with you.
Your little one can wear a striped tank top now, layered with a cardigan, sweatshirt, or denim jacket, and transition to wearing it solo in the summer. With yesterday’s temps hitting 90 degrees in SF, Mario and I already busted out our tank tops!
