Allover Printed Sweatshirts for Kids: Spring’s Fun, Cozy Trend
This Spring, the big trend will be sweatshirts—lots of sweatshirts! In fact, the sporty sweatshirt trend took over the runways for Spring. As I mentioned in a previous post, sweatshirts are as chic as they are cozy, making them perfect for kids, who need comfort in their wardrobes as they’re always on the move and ready to play.
With so many sweatshirt styles this season, my favorites are allover printed sweatshirts. These bold and fun prints have been dominating the season. Popular prints include camouflage, botanical florals and garden bugs, conversational animals, star prints, heart prints, nautical themes, and classic polka dots.
The allover printed sweatshirt trend is for the young at heart—and for little ones, it's a bonus that sweatshirts go with almost anything: jeans, sweatpants, chinos, leggings, and even skirts for girls. Sweatshirt dressing is a lifestyle, and it’s one I’ve embraced for both myself and my son. Here are a few of my favorite allover printed sweatshirts for little ones this Spring.

I Love the Simplicity of this DIY Allover Polka Dot Print on a Kids Sweatshirt. Simply buy fabric paint, dip the eraser end of a pencil in the paint, and place dots on a Sweatshirt! How easy is that? I have to try this DIY for my son and for myself! Just don't forget to place a layer of cardboard or scrap paper between the fabric layers of the sweatshirt to prevent the ink from bleeding through! And if you’re using a fabric paint that requires heat setting, turn the sweatshirt inside out and place scrap paper between the layers of fabric, then press according to the instructions on the paint package.
