I am excited for the Olympics tonight, especially for the start of ladies figure skating with the short program. I mentioned in a previous post that I was a huge fan of Dorothy Hamill as a young girl: I fondly remember her bringing home the Gold Medal at the 1976 winter games, and I still look forward to watching ladies figure skating at the Olympics. I especially love to see their costumes as I usually love anything sparkly! However, I do miss seeing some resemblance of the country in which the skaters are from. I do not quite understand all the pink and purple I am seeing this year--though, all this figure skating is making me think tulle and sparkle, and wishing I saw more Stars from team U.S.A. on the ice!
I did find some super cute apparel and accessories for Little Ones with tulle, stars and sparkle, which I do think are Gold Medal worthy for your future Little Ice Princess. I am hoping I like the costumes tonight--it is surely to improve on what has so far been worn--but how exciting was the Gold Medal win by Meryl Davis and Charlie White for ice dancing on Monday, the first Olympic title in the event for the United States… Go U.S.A.!
