Gold Medal-Worthy Apparel for Little Ones: Tulle, Stars, and Sparkle
I’m excited for the Olympics tonight, especially for the start of ladies’ figure skating with the short program. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been a huge fan of Dorothy Hamill since I was a young girl. I still remember her winning the Gold Medal at the 1976 Winter Games, and I continue to look forward to watching ladies’ figure skating at the Olympics.
One thing I love is seeing their costumes—sparkly details always catch my eye! However, I do miss seeing more of a connection to the skaters’ home countries. I don’t quite understand all the pink and purple I’ve seen this year. It’s making me long for tulle and sparkle—and wishing I saw more Stars from Team USA on the ice!
In the meantime, I’ve found some super cute apparel and accessories for little ones that feature tulle, stars, and sparkle. These pieces are definitely Gold Medal-worthy for your future Little Ice Princess! I’m hoping tonight’s costumes will be an improvement, but how exciting was the Gold Medal win by Meryl Davis and Charlie White for ice dancing on Monday? The U.S. earned its first Olympic title in the event… Go U.S.A.!
