Mario Bakes Spritz Cookies for Santa
In previous posts I have shared Mario's love of baking with you; so it should be of little surprise for you to you hear that we baked Christmas Cookies for Santa this year... well, um, not really for Santa. Our entire family got sick just days before Christmas - we were, nonetheless quite busy chasing Mario and his new puppy all around the house - leaving us too exhausted to spend an afternoon in the kitchen baking which is why it wasn't until the day after Christmas, that Mario and I finally got to bake a batch of spritz Christmas cookies, or "cookie trees" as Mario calls them. Needless to say, they were delicious and we didn't need Santa to help us eat them all!
