It is finally starting to feel like summer in Düsseldorf, so my boys picked me up after work on Thursday for a dinner date at our favorite Spanish Tapas restaurant in the Altstadt (old town). We had a delicious dinner at a table outside while we enjoyed the beautiful weather.
On our walk to the restaurant Mario saw a skate shop with skateboards in the window, and said "Cool Skateboards!". He is becoming quite the "Cool Kid" himself. Mario is full of swag and is now missing his two front teeth! Last Friday he had them pulled out. Mario's two front teeth cracked a while ago, product of a rambunctious day in a San Francisco Playground, and it was time to take them out. He smiles just as big as ever and is proud of his new "big boy look", plus he was happy to have his first visit from the tooth fairy who brought him 2 Euro for each tooth - Cool!
