Mario’s Weekend in Hayes Valley: Exploring Urban Air Market and Treats from Miette"
Mario’s tummy is still recovering from his stomach flu, but we got out of the house this weekend and visited Hayes Valley Urban Air Market. It’s Hayes Valley’s largest street festival, showcasing sustainable design with over 130 vendors offering jewelry, art, apparel, beauty products, home goods, and more. There were also local artists and musicians, adding to the lively atmosphere.
I treated Mario to his favorite treat, a macaron from Miette, happy to see he had the appetite to enjoy it. Miette is San Francisco’s most charming pastry shop, and one of the top ten pastry shops in the world, according to Condé Nast. I also treated myself to a delicate and beautiful ring from Royaderose, which has the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance.
Overall, we had a lovely weekend walking around and enjoying our neighborhood. Mario is feeling much better, though still not quite his energetic self—so we definitely took it easy.
