Bow Dresses: Spring Must-Have Girls Trend

In a past post, I talked about the trend of bows as allover prints and graphics on T-shirts. Designers showcased bows for Spring 2014, not only in prints but also in 3-D. These 3-D bows are fresh, fun, and very pretty—Spring is the season for bows! Bows add a playful, dressy element to simple shift silhouettes, making a bow dress the perfect choice for any special occasion this Spring and Summer.

Below are my favorite bow dresses, including a DIY option, for your little princess. I only wish they came in my size, but I plan to use a scarf as an oversized bow paired with one of my simple dresses, just like the little girl above. You can also transform one of your daughter’s existing dresses into a bow dress with a scarf. I love the scarf in the photo above, which is the Anne Kurris Gold Leaf Cotton Scarf.
