Easter Funday
Yesterday was Easter Sunday, and I thought it would be fun to share some photos of my family celebrating the day with you. To say the least I am exhausted, we got home just before 9 PM last night, after a day full of activities. Same same as most of you, we woke up to goodies from the Easter Bunny (whom my son calls "Easter Funny"). After eating the frosting off of our Mission Minis cupcakes, we went to Roaring Camp Railroads (in Felton, CA), where in addition to awesome real 1880s Steam Trains they had an Eggstraordinary Easter Egg Hunt, Gold Panning, Face Painting, Easter Craft Corner, Egg Toss, Bounce House, Box Car Theatre, Live Music and a yummy BBQ! We ate burgers and fries and chased the cats on the grounds, then we took the Beach Steam Train to Santa Cruz-- which is a gorgeous 1 hour train ride under the majestic Redwoods, over Indian Creek Trestle and through the Santa Cruz Mountains. We had ice-cream on the Santa Cruz boardwalk and walked along the beach kicking and throwing sand, only to return to Roaring Camp Railroads to chase ducks and throw rocks. I hope you all had a fabulous Easter as well, and that you enjoy the photos of my son Mario from his Easter Funday!
