Baseball Jackets: Spring Trend Inspired by America's Favorite Pastime
MLB kicked off its 2014 season, and fashion has already embraced the spirit of America’s favorite pastime. Pinstripes, baseball caps, ringer tees, and baseball jackets are trending for both adults and kids. Designers have taken the classic baseball jacket from the diamond to the runway, reimagining it for the streets. Rebecca Minkoff, Mark McNairy, Bespoken, DKNY, and Jonathan Saunders all showcased their takes on baseball jackets for Spring 2014.
No matter which team you root for, I hope your season includes catching a game or two. We usually make it to a couple of SF Giants games each year, and Mario loves every minute of it. His favorites? Popcorn, pretzels, and watching the action from inside the SF Cable Car at AT&T Park. If you ask me—or my three-year-old—it’s the best seat in the house.
