Halloween Costume Ideas and Sweets for Kids - October 2014
It's October, which means it's time to plan Halloween costumes and, of course, indulge in sweets! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays (though, if you follow my blog, you know I love all holidays!). I especially love Halloween for the costumes, the treats, pumpkin carving, and everything spooky—ghosts, witches, vampires, monsters, bats, black cats, and haunted houses.
Every Halloween, my family wears matching costumes. Last year, we were all Smurfs, and the year before, my husband and I were Ghostbusters, with Mario as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. I need to start planning our costumes for this year. For inspiration, I turn to Pinterest, where I collect, organize, and save all my Halloween ideas—check out my "I Love Halloween" board for tricks and treats.
When it comes to sweets, Dylan's Candy Bar is my go-to. With over 7,000 confections, it’s the largest selection of candy and candy-related gifts from around the world. Think of it as a modern-day Willy Wonka factory.
Below, you'll find some of my favorite Halloween costume ideas for kids from Pinterest and a few of my favorite Halloween treats from Dylan's Candy Bar.
