Paade Mode FW14 "Below the Snow": Ethical Children's Fashion
I love discovering new brands, and when I found Paade Mode, I knew I had to share it with you. Paade Mode creates organic, smart-casual clothing for children, all ethically produced in Latvia by founder and designer Linda Raituma. The brand stands out with its exquisite simplicity, clean silhouettes, and use of natural fabrics. Each collection reflects elements of Latvian culture and nature, respecting natural beauty while honoring children's individuality.
The Fall/Winter 2014-15 collection, “Below the Snow”, reveals hidden stories and magic inspired by nature. Delicate patterns and carefully selected colors—wintery whites, soft grays, tones of green and blue, with pops of wine red and orange—tell the tale of seasons past. Fine floral prints and checkered lines blend seamlessly with embroidered rowan branches, all designed by artist Edite Kirse.
Paade Mode's timeless designs are perfect for the colder months, offering beauty, meaning, and ethical craftsmanship. As someone who values ethical fashion, Paade Mode is everything I love about the future of fashion—thoughtful design, cultural storytelling, and sustainability.
