Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree: Playful & Fun Ornaments for Kids
I'm excited to share some playful and fun ornaments your kids will love when you're Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree this year!
Growing up, our family tradition was to put up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. However, during our time in Germany, we followed a different custom of decorating the tree on Christmas Eve. There, the tree remains in the house for the 12 days of Christmas, ending on January 6. Our family has since found a balance, putting up our tree the second weekend in December. While most tree lots in the United States are picked over by then, I've come to love our perfectly imperfect Christmas trees!
No matter when you put up your Christmas tree, Mario's favorite activity is trimming the tree with me. In fact, he puts his favorite ornament on the tree first - a #1 Crate & Barrel Alpaca Santa. He enjoys choosing ornaments, always gravitating towards the fun and playful ones. Some of his other favorites I'm also sharing include:
#4 Maileg Red Guard
#6 LEGO Christmas Santa Ornament
#11 Skippy Cotton Mini Bowie Bunny
#12 Craftspring New York, New York Santa
These are ornaments your kids would love to help trim the tree with, bringing joy and excitement to your holiday decorating tradition!
