After visiting the Original Legoland in Billund, Denmark for Mario's Spring Break Holiday, we spent a couple of days in Copenhagen. Although it was cold and rainy (really cold and rainy), we did manage to explore a bit of the city and visited the National Aquarium Denmark, Den Blå Planet. Den Blå Planet is Northern Europe's largest aquarium and Mario loved the interactive touch screens they have next to each tank to learn about the animals. The aquarium resembles a whirlpool when seen from above and is spectacular - I highly recommend visiting Den Blå Planet if you go to Copenhagen with little ones. Besides going to the aquarium, we spent a lot of time in our hotel - our hotel had a swimming pool and bowling alley, so we went swimming every day and Mario bowled for his first time. In between swimming and bowling, we met our friend, who lives in Copenhagen, for lunch and dinner dates - we almost felt more like locals than tourists while there which was fantastic. We all loved Copenhagen and can't wait to visit again!
