Mario My Slimer: Halloween 2016
Mario is obsessed with Ghostbusters: he equally loves the original Ghostbusters Movie; the 2016 remake; the cartoon; and his Slimer-Lego-Toy. It was therefore not a surprise that Mario wanted to be 'Slimer The Ghost' for Halloween. I like our family to dress up in a theme for Halloween - so long as Mario partakes in my costume making craziness. Personally, I was happy about Mario's costume choice this year because my husband and I already have Ghostbuster costumes; when Mario was a baby he was the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and we were Ghostbusters. Although I usually like to make our costumes in full, this year I have been especially busy working and traveling, so I bought an Adult Slimer Costume for Mario that I simply altered the head piece to be his entire costume. Mario loved his costume, and was so obsessed with Slimer that he wanted a Slimer-Pumpkin too! My husband carved a ghostly pumpkin and Mario was more than happy to cover it in GREEN SLIME! We had a fun Halloween night trick-or-treating and I can't wait to see what character Mario is obsessed with next Halloween!
