Every day is an adventure with Mario; recently, our family drove through a safari in the Netherlands, only a 45 minute drive from Dusseldorf. Mario loves animals, so a drive through a safari seemed like the perfect afternoon adventure. I must admit it was a lot of time spent in the car, but midway through the safari you were led to a rest/recharge area full of restaurants, shops and playgrounds to get out of the car for a much needed run and stretch. Mario ran and played while my husband and I stretched and relaxed. Mario loved the safari because the animals were so close to us in the car and he got to sit in the front seat of the car - which is an uber-cool adventure for a 5 year old!
