Mario at Wochenmarkt Carlsplatz in Dusseldorf's Altstadt

A few weekends ago we did our Saturday grocery shopping at Wochenmarkt Carlsplatz, an amazing Farmer's Market in Dusseldorf's Altstadt - "old town". Not only was the produce fresh and delicious, but they have the most beautiful flowers and food stands to have lunch there. We of course got sausages and french fries - very German of us. Something the German's and Mario both agree upon is a lot of ketchup on their fries - and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT!

Afterwards, we went to Mario's favorite park, Hofgarten - also in Dusseldorf's Alstadt, where Mario had a sword fight with his dada, climbed a statue, and ran, ran, ran! I love Saturday's with my boys!
