Mario's Jet Lag: 'Up All Night & Sleep All Day"
This is our second week in Düsseldorf and Mario is finally starting to establish a sleep routine. Having jet lag is not fun for an adult, but it is extremely tough on a 3 1/2 year old - and is perhaps tougher on the Mama and Dada for that matter.
Our first week in Germany Mario would pass out as soon as we got home from our days' adventures- he would say 'sleepy time', run to his bed, and before I could take off his jacket and sneakers he would be sound asleep. The fun would again begin at 3 a.m. when Mario was wide awake and ready to play with his Legos, and, with his Mama. I must admit, the last few days have been a lot better with Mario falling asleep around 7 p.m. and waking up anywhere between 5-7 a.m. This sleep routine I can manage!
