A Puppy for Mario for Christmas!

Mario's Christmas present came a few days early this year: we got him a puppy! My husband and I had been wanting a family dog for quite a while now; but waited until we were better settled in Germany to find one. Mario was rather excited that he got to meet his new puppy a few weeks ago; and, a couple of days before Christmas, our family picked up the newest member of our little family. He is surprisingly good... yes, he is a puppy and has rambunctious spurts of energy and wants to bite everything in sight, but he never cried, or got sick in the car, and quickly settled into our home as if it were the only place he had ever known (despite, of our 3, much older cats). In fact, he was a perfect car traveler and slept like a baby from the first night onwards. I really do believe he knew he would be spoiled and loved from the second he met us... and, of course, he is. Here he is (our new little bundle of love): Francisco Pyphor Spike. We simply call him Pyphor, Mario's made up name for him. I think it is a good name though, as it is unique - just like him.
