Mario's Last Day in London at His First Play: The Railway Children

On the last day of our mini vacation in London, we took Mario to his first play, The Railway Children, featuring a stage built around a real train track with a real moving steam train. Mario was happy to experience the theater and throughly enjoyed the popcorn in the vintage foyer; however, the loud horn of the steam train scared him when the train entered the stage. Though I thought it was exciting, Mario's imagination thought otherwise when the steam train came howling onto the stage. I held my little bug tight when there was a train on he track, and his fear turned back to joy. After the play we took a walk to our favorite park in London, Regent's Park, so Mario could chase the squirrels one last time before heading back home to Germany. It was truly an unforgettable day.
