Mario at the London Zoo
After spending a beautiful morning in London's Regent's Park wandering amongst the Frieze Sculpture Park, we headed to the London Zoo. Did you know that the London Zoo is the the world's oldest scientific zoo? A fact for you... "it was opened in London on April 27, 1828, and was originally intended to be used as a collection for scientific study. It was eventually opened to the public in 1847."
Mario loved the London Zoo, sometimes called Regent's Zoo, because it houses 806 species of cool animals. Mario was impressed with the tigers, he even brought along our cat toys to play with them, but his favorite experience at the Lodon Zoo was the Spider exhibition. Not only can you view fascinating exotic species such as the black widow, huntsman and giant bird-eating spiders, but you can also walk amongst the spiders in a walk-through expedition - yes, we walked in a room full of spiders! The things you will do when you are loving parents of a curious little boy!
