Our Holiday Announcement: A New Adventure in Germany!

I sent our holiday cards to friends and family a few weeks ago, and I’m excited to share them with you now. Inside the card, we shared some exciting news: in 2015, our family will begin a new adventure—we’re moving to Düsseldorf, Germany!

Since we wanted to share the news in our holiday cards, I made "Germany" the theme of the design. On the cover, Mario is holding the book This is Munich, and on the back, he’s admiring his Hansel and Gretel gingerbread house, a special gift we brought back for him from Düsseldorf during our trip in early December. Inside, we included a photo strip of our family in a photo booth with holiday props and a San Francisco trolley. San Francisco has been our home for the last 10 years.

While we’ll miss the friends we’ve made here in San Francisco and the city where we became a family, we’re thrilled about our new adventure and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you on this blog. Please bear with me if there are occasional missed posts during the move. Once we’re settled in Germany, I’ll share more posts featuring Mario in his new city and on our hopefully many European adventures. I hope you continue to follow Petit-Swag as we enter this exciting next chapter of our lives.
