Mario's Labor Day Weekend in San Francisco: Pizza, Parks, and Family Fun
Relax, park, picnic, pizza, and repeat—that pretty much sums up our Labor Day weekend.
The weather in San Francisco was perfect this past weekend. While the streets were quieter than usual, the parks were filled with people soaking up the sun and enjoying the long holiday weekend. On Saturday, we had pizza brunch at StarBelly, followed by an afternoon at Mission Dolores Park. On Sunday, we had pizza lunch at Off the Grid Picnic at the Presidio and kicked a soccer ball around. Later, we did some fall cleaning before enjoying a pizza dinner at Pizzeria Delfina and spending the evening running around Mission Dolores Park again.
Mario had a blast going down the slides, swinging, kicking his soccer ball, rolling around in the grass, and, of course, eating pizza—his favorite food! I can honestly say I don't need to eat pizza again for a long while. Mario also loved spending time with his Mama and Papa, which made me happy, especially since he’s starting preschool in two weeks.
