Waterworld California: A Fun-Filled Weekend with Mario
I’m not sure who was more excited about our trip to Waterworld California this weekend—my husband or Mario! Both of them couldn’t wait to hit the rides and slides.
In addition to its eight thrilling rides and slides, Waterworld has plenty of attractions designed just for kids. Treasure Island Children’s Activity Area is a large, interactive water-powered playground, while Lil' Kahuna's Waterworks offers a fun "sprayground" with over 15 wet-and-wild features. These include giant waterfall archways, fountains, geysers, water-powered seesaws and swings, tipping buckets, and pint-sized waterslides. Mario had a blast at both areas, but Lil' Kahuna's pint-sized waterslides were his favorite—I lost count of how many times he went down!
We also spent time at Breaker Beach Wave Pool and floated along the Kaanapali Kooler Lazy River, where we relaxed on inner tubes as geyser waterfalls splashed around us.
After a fun-filled day, Mario was completely worn out. Within five minutes of leaving the parking lot, he was fast asleep in his car seat!
