I have another Mario Funday to share with you this week since this last week/ weekend was so fun filled for Mario!
My sister Margie and brother-in-law were here from New York last week and we had a lot of fun with them- this included, taking the ferry to Sausalito and going to the California Academy of Sciences. Over the 4th of July weekend, after they left, we got to go to a Giants Baseball Game at AT&T Park, which we experienced from a luxury suite as part of a work-function with my husband's work, and we celebrated my husband's Birthday on Sunday: this, was Mario's favorite day of all.
Mario Loves Birthdays, especially his own, and now he also loves Daddy's Birthday because my husband had the perfect Birthday for a 3 year old! We started the day with a 'Cars' ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins for breakfast (Mario helped blow out the candles), then, we spent the day at the Alameda County Fair going on car and train rides and saw a lot of cool animals. Though the animals were cool- we were not- we left San Francisco on a typical cool day, so we dressed in slouchy sweatpants and long sleeved henleys (Mario and Albert looked cute in matching tops--tho we did fail to check the weather for where we were going). When we got to Pleasanton the temperature was a whopping 97 degrees. My husband had a tank under his henley and thankfully I always carry a back up t-shirt for Mario- but we were HOT to say the least. Note to self... shorts, tank tops, and sundresses to all fairs in the future :-)
