Mario's San Francisco Weekend: Zoo Animals & Pool Adventures
I had another amazing weekend with my boys. My husband and I caught an afternoon showing of X-Men in 3-D (we need to date more often!).
On Saturday, we took Mario to the San Francisco Zoo, one of his favourite places in the city. He gets excited at the entrance's viewing area, spotting giraffes and zebras. Inside, the giraffes came so close we could practically touch them. We spotted a Patas Monkey with its baby - a special treat. Mario loves animals more than anything, making it fun for us all, even my husband who isn't a fan of caging animals.
Sunday's heat led us to the Mission Community Pool, San Francisco's only City-operated outdoor pool. The surprisingly uncrowded pool promises many more summer afternoon visits for cooling off and family laughter.
