Valentine's Day is this Friday, February 14th, and for kids, Valentine's Day is all about the excitement of handing out cards and expressing their friendship to one another. It's a festive day, and so much fun for kids to really show someone that they care, by sharing their interests and expressing their love through the cards/gifts they give each other from the very bottom of their sweet hearts. Altho cards are not exactly fashion, they do make me (and kids) smile, which is why I am dedicating today's post to Valentine Cards. What I am finding out is how much more elaborate Valentine Cards are/can be these days--versus the Strawberry Shortcake boxed cards I remember handing out to my classmates when I was my sons age. I have come across many craft ideas for Valentine's that my son, Mario, Loves (so do I), and which are easy to do for kids of any age. Below are some of my favorites, your little one can choose to express their care to a single sweetheart, or to a whole classroom by saying "Be My Valentine". If you Don't have your Valentine Cards for your Little One already, here are those cute ideas... most are free downloadable templates or printouts!
