Mario Believes at San Francisco’s Union Square Christmas Tree
Last weekend we took Mario to see the Christmas Tree in Union Square and the SPCA kittens & puppies in the holiday window display of Macy's. Adoptable kittens & puppies have been in Macy's San Francisco holiday window display for the past nine years and we love to visit them—if we didn’t already have three cats I would adopt one.
Mario is at a fun age this year—he believes in Santa, can’t wait for "Present Time", and is obsessed with Snowmen and Christmas Trees! Mario is very excited it’s Christmas time and loved seeing the massive Christmas Tree in Union Square! It inspired him to request a giant star to top our Christmas Tree—like "that one" he said. Which sent me on a search for the perfect giant star tree topper for our Christmas tree. I found an extra-large snowflake ornament that I transformed into a tree topper that got Mario's approval.
Mario was so excited for Christmas this past weekend at Union Square, but I must admit in order to brave the crowds my husband and I had brunch beforehand that included a couple glasses of wine at Belden Place (often called the French Quarter of San Francisco).
Enjoy & Merry Christmas Eve!
