Character Hoodies for Kids: Playful & Fun for Spring

I’m absolutely smitten with Character Hoodies for Kids. They turn an ordinary hoodie into something that’s truly a must-have. These hoodies were a big trend in children’s wear this fall, and the most popular by far was Stella McCartney's Bandit Hoodie (pictured above and below), seen on Flynn Bloom, Orlando Bloom’s adorable son, in two different colors. It sold out almost everywhere at $125—almost, as I found it on sale (see below)!

I’m sure kids will continue wearing Character Hoodies into spring. Hoodies are perfect transitional pieces, offering warmth on chilly days while keeping little ones comfortable when the weather warms up, thanks to their lightweight fabric. Plus, kids will love them because these Character Hoodies are beyond cool! My son, for instance, is obsessed with his Tea Collection Daring Dragon Hoodie (also below)—it’s his absolute favorite!

This  Stella McCartney Bandit Hoodie is sure to be one your son will Adore! In keeping with the brand's playful aesthetic, this Character Hoodie features a Mexican wrestler character printed on the hood with quirky mesh eye holes and glow in the dark print! This Tea Collection Daring Dragon Hoodie is the one my son has, and it's his favorite Hoodie. In China, a pixu is a dragon-like creature that wards off evil, and when your Little Guy flips up his hood in this adorable Character Hoodie he will ward off the cold and look cool. And for extra cuteness, it has a striped lined hood and pockets. 

This Volcom "Chargernized" Full Zip Hoodie zips up and over your Little Guys face to reveal a googgly-eyed character (mesh insets at the eyes and mouth allow him to see and breathe easily). Like the Mask Trend (see my previous post), this Hoodie lets his silly side go wild and allows him to express his personality with mystique and playfulness.

This Mighty Fine Rainbow Dash Hoodie lets your little one be RainbowDash ALLOVER! With mane, ears, tail, and wings your Daughter is sure to be in LOVE with the magic of this absolutely adorable Character Hoodie. I love that there are Girly Character Hoodies in this trend as well.  And this RainbowDash Character Hoodie comes in Women's sizes as well, I am seriously considering :-)

This Mighty Fine "Hello Kitty Face" Hoodie has a cute Hello Kitty Face, a hood-top with Kitty Ears, and an all-over Heart Print (All-Over Prints is another trend in Hoodies I will be talking about soon). This Handmade Dino Hoodie is Made to Order from SwankyPankyDesigns at Etsy.  I Love the Simplicity of this Character Hoodie while still having Big Personality with Dino Spikes going down the back.
